Salt Lake Tribune, 13 August 1967, Page W21

The Sugar House Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Salt Lake City premiere of "Thoroughly Modern Millie," sparkling musical roadshow set in the 1920s, Wednesday at the Villa Theatre.

Festivities will begin at 8 p.m. with the introduction of Jean Louis, French designer who costumed the show, and the modeling of dresses that were worn by its star Julie Andrews.  The picture will begin at 8:30 p.m.

A parade of antique cars will drive from Sugar House Wednesday evening and remain on display in front of the theatre during the premiere.

Proceeds from the premiere will go to the Sugar House Christmas Decorations fund.  Tickets are available from members of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce.
